Digitising Old Media

As technology advances favourite films, photographs, sound recordings and other data files must be transferred from outdated storage form onto more up-to-date media using digital data.

Popular transfers are possible from movie film and VHS video to DVD, paper based photographs to digital storage such as CD, and sound archives on tape or vinyl record also to CD.

Using appropriate software, the quality of the original can even be improved e.g. removing scratches from photographs and noise from recordings.
